Harmit Bedi has recently joined the professional workforce of the City of Grovetown with the Department of Planning and Community Development.
Harmit Bedi is a professional planner. He has extensive experience in the planning profession. He has worked for progressive communities of various sizes, opportunities, and challenges and issues. He has experience in doing projects at international level. He has certification in American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He possesses Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Master’s in City and Regional Planning and Geography. He has certification in Management Development Program, University of Georgia, Athens. As an Affiliate Assistant Professor, he has been associated with Georgia Southern University, Kennesaw State University and Georgia Gwinnett College. Bedi has authored book titled “Smart Urban and Rural Planning Techniques.” He has published articles in the Planning magazine of American Planning Association titled “Savannah Takes the LEED” and “Campus Planning and Design: An Indian Experience.”
His professional goal is to make the Grovetown Community a better place to live, work, play, learn, worship and raise a family.
