Fort Gordon
Fort Gordon is a large, multi-mission, multi-service military installation providing base services and support across a wide spectrum of training, operational, and soldier sustainment needs. The installation supports Army and Department of Defense organizations and activities performing regional and world-wide missions including communications training and operations, military intelligence, cyber operations, medical and dental care, and force integration and mobilization.
Fort Gordon is the current home of the United States Cyber Center of Excellence. The fort is located within Richmond, Jefferson, McDuffie, and Columbia counties, and if it had an official hometown, Grovetown would be it.
Fort Gordon ensures that Army cyberspace, electronic warfare, and signal operations capabilities evolve with Joint force requirements and capabilities. The Cyber School lays the foundation for development of a highly skilled cyber force, trained to joint standards, and ready to meet combatant commanders' current and future force requirements.
The facility treats active duty military and their families, as well as many of the military retiree community in the Central Savannah River Area. Under SERMC, the hospital is responsible for military hospital care from Kentucky to Puerto Rico.
Fort Gordon has approximately 29,500 military and civilian employees as of 2020, and currently has an estimated $2.4 billion economic impact on the CSRA.

The Cyber Center of Excellence
The Cyber Center of Excellence (Cyber CoE) is the force modernization proponent for cyberspace operations, signal/communications networks and information services, and electronic warfare. The Cyber CoE integrates and develops agile, adaptive doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel, and facilities solutions for cyberspace operations, signal/communications networks and information services, and electronic warfare operations, and coordinates with the Intelligence Center of Excellence for institutional intelligence support to cyberspace operations.Fort Gordon ensures that Army cyberspace, electronic warfare, and signal operations capabilities evolve with Joint force requirements and capabilities. The Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center
Fort Gordon is also home of the U.S. Army Signal Regiment and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, home of the Southeast Regional Medical Command (SERMC) as well as a dental laboratory.The facility treats active duty military and their families, as well as many of the military retiree community in the Central Savannah River Area.
