Residential garbage collection is provided to residents of the City of Grovetown through a contract with Waste Management. Waste Management provides integrated, non-hazardous solid waste collection and disposal services to nearly 21 million residential, industrial, municipal, and commercial customers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
All items set for collection must be bagged. The City also provides biweekly curbside pick-up of large or bulky household items which will not fit inside regular, roll-out garbage containers. The City does not pick-up used tires, liquids, or hazardous materials. If you are not sure what can or cannot be put out for pickup, please call the office first at 706-863-4576, ext 450.
