Streets & Sanitation

The Streets and Sanitation Department’s primary objectives are to keep the city looking its best at all times and to maintain safe city streets for all to travel.

Duties of this department include repairing and maintaining city streets and sidewalks, installing and maintaining street and road signs and  mowing grass along city rights-of-way, ditches and other drainage areas.

This department is also responsible for displaying flags on holidays, decorating for the Christmas season and picking up limbs, leaves or grass clippings.
