The City of Grovetown's Fire Department personnel will be testing and flushing fire hydrants along the eastern portion of Robinson Ave between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. This hydrant testing may affect residents in the Pepper Hill Subdivision and the 500 and 600 blocks of Robinson Avenue.
Residents in the affected subdivision and areas may experience low water pressure and cloudy or brown water during the testing. The water discoloration is not harmful but could stain laundry so affected residents are advised to avoid using their washing machines during the time and to test that their water has returned to clear before doing loads of laundry.
