Bulky Item Pickup

We encourage you to recycle your bulky items through charitable organizations and thrift stores. However, if you are unable to do so, the City of Grovetown provides twice-weekly curbside pick-up of large or bulky household items which will not fit inside the regular roll-out carts. Discarded items must placed be on the curb by 7 a.m. on the day of pickup.

Non-metal items such as mattresses, furniture, etc., are picked up on Mondays and Fridays. Metal items, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc., are picked up on Wednesdays.***

Certain items are excluded from pickup including rocks, dirt, tires, propane tanks, shingles and paint. No tires are collected or picked up anywhere in the city limits.

***Please note if your items are not picked up on the stated days due to unforseen circumstances the city will have the items picked up in as timely a manner as possible.
